This apple was painted using china painting color and fired multiple times to build up the rich red color. It is on a 4 1/4" sq. white tile and framed and grouted with ceramic pieces. The pieces on either side are hunter green next to high gloss black,and checkered black and white at top and bottom. 1" sq. corner tiles are black gloss.The piece measures 8 1/4" x 8 1/2" overall and is 1" thick. It is mounted on a beveled board with a slotted hole for hanging.
